New digs for the Serra's...MOVING SATURDAY!

Check out Leeza's "rock hard" tummy
But she still thinks milk and cookies are YUMMY!!

I realize this is not the most "ladylike picture" however, I love the expression on Sean and Leeza's faces...

The song I sing for Leeza..

Leeza Leeza..she's a people pleeza
Leeza Grace, has a sweet lil face!!

Leeza is SMART too! She picked up her ladybug book and went to town, because she knows...READERS ARE LEADERS! ha ha (yes, Sara, I am a dork!!)

Leeza's favorite place to play is underneath this cabinet thingy you see behind her. She loves to throw her stacking cups or bang her wooden keys. She loves to make a lot of noise, then she screams. It's pretty cute. But then again, we think everything she does it cute..(well, the spaz attacks are not super cute!!) LOL

COME ON MOM, GIVE ME some Coke light!!
(this was before her "spaz attack" when I took it away...I did NOT get that on film..)

How big is Leeza??? soooooooooooooooo big! and extra tall on Mom's shoulders!!

Please excuse Leeza's state of "undress". It was kinda stuffy when we first got into the visitation room so we opened the window, and let her go with just her diaper. It is fun watching her discover her feet!!!

Tis another Stellar Sunday here in Kostanai! THIS WILL ALSO BE MY LAST POST WITH DIAL UP!! WOO HOOOO! Eugene is coming over tonight and hooking up our DSL. I still have minutes on my 3rd 3000 tenge Kaz Telecom card so i'm using it up!!! WOO HOOO!!

It feels like a crisp fall day in Florida…pretty fabulous!! We had a great day with Leeza. I found out what else she likes besides her favorites: 1. Cookies and cake with milk, 2. Her homemade soup with homemade bread 3. Her meatloaf cutlet and mashed potatoes 4. Chicken and potatoes

She ate ALL her soup, and all her chicken and potatoes. This was the first time I have seen that served. They kids do have a great variety in their diet...more than mine! It smelled SO good too!! When we walked in, the kids were on the potties after naptime and when we walked in, Leeza’s face just lit up and we got the most wonderful smile!
She got so excited she almost fell off her potty!! It was sooooooooooo sweet. She is such a sweetie pie!! We did the obligatory walk around the baby house a couple times in the ergo, and then Sean insisted he get a turn pushing her in the stroller. She likes that too, only she likes to go FAST! We had fun playing with her today. She is really starting to imitate us more and more. We were putting the stacking cups on our heads, and on her head, over our ears, and over her ears. She was so cute trying to do it herself. It was cracking us up! She had a total conniption fit today though. Joe usually walks to the store at some point during our visit and gets us Coke lights and a Fanta for Sean. He got back today, and I let Leeza feel the coldness of the coke light. She went straight trying to drink it. I took it away and she had a big “spaz attack” as Sean would say. We had to hide it and I had to sneak drinks when she wasn’t looking. It reminds me when Sean was little and I would sneak and eat chocolate. He would always catch me and asked to smell my breath and asked where the chocolate was! BUSTED!!
It was outta sight, outta mind though and she went back to playing. Sean spent about an hour playing with his buddies today. I am so glad that they let him do that. Eva, the other caregiver we really like, was working today. She is so sweet and Sean said she offered him some tea!! When he came back, Leeza was glad to see him! She wasn’t fussy much today, and we didn’t have to fight to keep her awake! YAY!

After our visit, we went to the “car wash” again for lunch. This time, I had tortellini. It was good, and a salad with tomatoes, and cucumbers. YUM! It’s a big celebration in Kostanai this weekend. It’s Kostanai’s birthday (but Tatiana doesn’t know how old it is )and the President was here too. Everyone was out and about last night and they had a big fireworks show at Central Park around 11:00 last night. We could hear the booms and see the relections of the fireworks in the window across the street.

We came home from lunch today and we MOVED! We are in our new apartment. I really like it! It’s very nice (as was the other one!) We have DSL right now, BUT, Eugene is giving us his modem and he is working today so we’ll get it this evening. This will be my last post on dial up!! I’m sure you will be able to FEEL THE SPEED!

By the way, HUGE thanks to Diane, who suggested I log onto my webmail with roadrunner and delete the 10mb email. It worked like a charm!!

We have a different washing machine and it had a new button with a watch next to it. I am wondering if that is an “express cycle”! We will see, it’s been going only 30 minutes so far…BUT It sounds like an airplane is taking off in there...LOL

This apartment has a huge bathroom, (huge!!) but a smaller bedroom, but a bigger living room. The couch in the living room is much more comfy too. It’s cool…we unpacked, and it’s like we’re on a new adventure! The three weeks we’ve been here has already flown by, so now it will seem like we’re starting over!
There was EVEN a normal size coffee mug in the kitchen….wooo hooo!! BONUS!

You're a dork all right! That's OK; we love you anyways. (Yes, I know: I'm big dork, too.)

You posted a lot of pictures today. I can't believe you had the patience to do that using dial up! Will we get to see twice as many pictures starting tomorrow? I can't get enough of little Leeza. She's so cute!

Only in KaZ would someone move to get good internet..lol! Jaimie didn't waste anytime saying he'd move. Show us some pics of your new apt. Are the light switches on the outside walls of the rooms? Any unique light fixtures? Not that Leeza' s not cute but ususally the apts have something funky. Leeza and Sean are cute as ever! Gena

Greetings from sunny Puerto Rico! We are having a great time showing Dylan off to the PR side of his family, but of course I had to steal a sec to log in and see how things are going for you on the other side of the world! Looks like everything is going smoothly, and Leeza is just a big cutie pie!!! Her eyes are beautiful.

I saw your comment on my blog and will e-mail you shortly with anything I can think of, but really there's nothing to worry about, it's all pretty straight-forward. Hope you guys continue to enjoy your stay and your new place!

Khadine

PS. Tell Eugene Daddy Yankee says hi! :-)

Congrats on the move! Now all you'll hear is, "Suuuuusaann/Mooooooom! Get off the computer and lets go get something to eat!" :-) It's addicting. Which can be good in that it will make the time when Joe isn't around go by faster.

I love those stacking cups/balls. We have them and they were such a big hit because they can do so many things.

Leeza is so beautiful. I am excited to watch her grow up, grow hair, walk, and all those fun sorts of things.

The cup pictures are hysterical. You guys are having too much fun. ;-)

Now that you have DSL I can only imagine how much blogging you'll be doing. I can hear Joe saying, "Susan, step away from the computer. I repeat, step away from the computer." LOL

Your new digs sound great! DSL? Are you sure you are in Kaz? We didn't even have phones in the apt. that would call cell phones or use phone cards....local calls only! nice! ha!

The pictures are just so great!
