Miraclous Monday (written by Sean)

Today's post is written entirely by Sean. He also picked out the pictures to post. The only thing Mom did was upload them onto blogger. Joe and I are both getting Leeza's cold...and were taking a nap while Sean wrote today's blog.
Enjoy!

Hey I know I’ve never written on the blog before but I am for today so get used to it. Anyway it’s not Joe or Susan. It’s Sean (the awesome). Yep I am back in the USSR but that don’t exist no more… it’s just a fun song. Yep it’s miraculous Monday. Leeza really seems attached to us already. She’s like the islanders in Jollymon she loves to see us come she hates to see us go. She wasn’t really sad today she was really happy. She really does love her brother dad and mom. I picked miraculous Monday Today because it is a miracle that we Met Leeza, and it is a miracle that so much care is given to leeza and all her little buddies.
Speaking of the little buddies, I get to play with all the little dudes and dudets while my mom or dad Is feeding leeza. I have a few favorites: a little Kazakh girl who is Leeza’s best friend, this little Kazakh boy who I always call lil man, and a little Russian looking boy named Nick who got adopted by an American couple, and the little boy who came right after Nick left. There a really pretty flowers at the baby house. I took pictures of them today.
Leeza was very giggly today. You can tell she will be a rollercoaster girl because my dad was holding her on the visitation room couch and he tilted her back and she laughed her head off. Her dad and brother crack her up but not her mother.
Special note to my cousins, Gina and Johnny, We do laundry 24-7 so I wash my Manning jersey every night. No I haven’t seen a ranbowl yet neither an injured walrus (Johnny’s laugh).

You did an AWESOME job today. I am so happy you were able to be there to enjoy time with your sister. This time at the baby house and in Kazakhstan will be memories to have for a lifetime. Your sister will feel truly special and the bond you will have will be forever.

If you haven't gone bowling yet you better tell Eugene to get on it :)

Hope mom and dad are feeling better, in the mean time enjoy Kostanai and your travels.

Great post, Sean! We are so happy that you are there getting to know your little sister! Hey, the Bengals have their first pre-season game tonight, at Green Bay. We'll keep you posted, although you know pre-season is sort of a waste of time. HA! I will have to be sure that Leeza has her very own little jersey! We just bought a Carson Palmer jersey for Max.

We hope you will keep posting - we really love to hear from you!

Good job Sean. I will get your Dallas cousins to read your posting tonight.

What is this with the Manning jersey. You change teams like Leeza changes her diaper.

Well, Mr Big Bro Sean, aren't you an awesome poster and photo selector! It was great to hear from you. I REALLY liked the photo of you and Leeza together, looking at each other. You two DO have a bond. I think Miss Leeza is one smart cookie. She already has Daddy and Big Bro wrapped around her dainty little finger - that's clear. So Mommy will get the fun role because some how girls just know Mommy knows what's up. Stay away from that cold if you can and do post again!

Sean, I bet you can't wait to go on some of those Disney park coasters with her when she is big enough. Is your mom going to teach you how to do the laundry while you are here? You know, with all of this extra time. Then you can continue to do that when you get home. LOL. You are the bomb of big brothers. I missed seeing you all the last couple of days.

Nice Blog Sean! I think you can take over more often than just once a week. Maybe this should be a school project for you? :) Or at least it could get you some credit? It sounds like it is homework-worthy to me. So what do you think about my idea of getting a saddle for miles? You can lead Leeza around the neighborhood on him. :) Have you sang her some rap songs or made up a name for her yet? Her boyfriend Mac is waiting to meet her! Love ya! The Martinez Clan

Hey Sean,

As a huge JB fan, I was excited to see your reference. I too often think in terms of song lyrics.

Hey I love your photos and your chill laid back writing style. You did a great job, and I certainly hope it is not the last time we hear from you.

"Simple words can become clever phrases
And chapters could turn into books
Yes if I could just get it on paper
But it's harder than it ever looks."

Big hugs to your Lil Sis. Take Care.

Hi Sean! That was really well-written (and that means a lot coming from a teacher). :-) I think this should be a weekly supplement to your mom's blog. It sounds like you are having a great time there. You are making such a huge impact on those little kids' lives. They may not ever remember your face or name but they'll always have a warm place in their hearts for that cool American kid who showed them lots of love.
