Getting to know you....

Getting to know all about you....

Tatiana came over with ground beef from her mom, and some salad her mom made for me. Leeza LOVED the dinner we made,(ground beef "cutlets", and mashed potatoes) and we had it again for leftovers for lunch today.

Getting to like you

Tatiana called earlier and said her mom is making a chicken dish today is making extra for Leeza and I. Seriously, could Tatiana and her mom be ANY SWEETER TO US?
They are so wonderfully generous and kind hearted.

Getting to hope you like me...

Getting to know you, putting it my way,

But nicely,

You are precisely,

My cup of tea.

Getting to know you, Getting to know all about you.

Leeza's likes: Apples, pears, bananas, sweet bread soaked in warm milk, Aunt Tatiana's beef cutlets and mashed potatoes, Kazakhstan version of "puffs",animal crackers, apple juice

Getting to like you, Getting to hope you like me.
Mommy's favorite thing about Leeza: Easy going, loves to play, always has a smile for her mommy, independent (yet still cuddly and likes to snuggle), practically potty trained, goes to sleep for nap time and bed time without any issues, her inner beauty that just radiates as I spend more and more time with her...

Getting to know you, putting it my way,
Fun things Mommy is doing with Leeza: Letting her run around in just her diaper, letting her have "naked time", watching her dance to some of the videos we brought from home, having many "conversations" (with the same child that 9 weeks ago I wasn't sure if she even babbled..LOL..now she is "chatty Kathy), going to the market, and just watching her her explore her new world.

But nicely,

You are precisely, my cup of tea!

Leeza is so SMART. When asked where is your belly button...she knows exactly what you're talking about!
She has also started to stand for a few moments, unassisted (NO HANDS MOM!) She gets to tickled with herself that she always falls. :)

Awwww! LOVE this post! You are so creative and Leeza is so adorable! Those potty pictures are priceless! She's going to be annoyed with you for that someday! ;)

I'm so glad things are so easy with her, except for the eating part. Hopefully that will sort itself out soon.

You are getting me even more excited about springing Brady!

Got to Aqtobe a few hours ago, am heading to the store with what amounts to about $10 to get something to hold me over until tomorrow when the currency exchange is open, then off to bed. I don't care that it is only 3pm. ;)

Chickpea, I am so sorry I have been delinquent. Was traveling, QBRs, quarter end, you know all that stuff :( LOVE LOVE LOVE your pics and updates with Leeza at your Kaz pad! Obviously things are going fantastic! We dropped our toy delivery off to Joe yesterday and saw his pile of stuff to haul back to Kaz, wow! And you must be very proud of how Sean is stepping up to the plate ready to be a good big bro taking care of his school work, etc. Obviously you and Leeza are doing FANTASTIC!! Of course, with such a caring mommy, what else would happen. We are so thrilled for you! Keep up the good work! Love ya!

I love the first picture of you and Leeza. Of course, all of the others are cute too. I am so happy for you.

We registered Madeline for a fall baseball league yesterday. Her team is the Rays and she is thrilled! We are so excited for our Tampa Bay Rays. They are going to sweep the White Sox today. GO RAYS!!!

The happiness that you two share just radiates across the miles!
It is no surprise that she is settling in nice and easy -- and glad you found some foods she likes. Tatania and her mom are very special people - how sweet they are to help you out as they do!

So happy to hear that you're still being well fed--I was worried you weren't going to be able to make it to all those restaurants anymore with a little one in tow. No worries, you have the best in-country folks anyone could ever wish for.

Just catchin up after a busy weekend (though now you'll be in the same boat - having trouble keeping up with everybody's blogs!). Congratulations breaking Leeza out of the big house! It sounds like things are going marvelously. She seems to be eating well now. And chatty! That's funny - my girlfriend's daughter was that way. When she started talking she didn't stop! Enjoy!

I haven't posted in a while because our frustrating connection won't allow Susan's adorable pictures to download in less than 5 minutes but I had to suffer today so that I could just say how darn beautiful and sweet Leeza is.

We had the honor of Susan and Leeza's company two nights ago for chili night and it was a delight to watch Leeza play and attempt walking while we chatted and ate. She is a wonderful delight! On our walk to the bazaar yesterday, she slept so soundly and was too cute when she finally woke up.

And just in case anyone back home is planning on buying any pretty clothes for this darling, you might want stay away from the color pink. I think Susan has that color all taken care of! (-:

Love you both!!

We were up at the cabin this weekend and I was SO excited to get home to see your blog. You got her! She is with you 100% now! :) Yeah Leeza!!!! I am SO happy for you and your family Susan. :) She is just a precious little angel.

We have those same stacking things, they are great! Did you know that you can take the two that are closest to each other and snap them toghether to make several balls? We discovered that after a couple weeks of stacking them to make the tower and stacking them to make a small stack, but you can actually make like 5 little balls too, they are great. Zahri still loves them!

:) Congratulations Mommy,
Christy

What a great post! You have done a wonderful job with your daughter (so happy to hear you don't have sleep issues) and the photos are just precious. Now I feel I must try to potty train Alexa.. the pressure is on! Ha!!

enjoy the rest of your time there, but I know you'll be happy with Joe arrives. I found a stroller USELESS in Almaty by the way - hang on to the ergo ;-)

Love ya,
Shannon and Alexa (who wishes she could meet miss Leeza soon...)
