Oh my gosh, I am FLOORED.
Leeza just took her first 3 steps!!
I just said earlier how she was getting close and SHE DID IT!
She was standing hanging on to the tv console, and she turned around, and walked to me!!!
I am SO PROUD OF HER!
GO LEEZA!!!!!
I am dying to call DADDY and Sean to tell them, but it's 4:18 am and they're sleeping!
Sean is going to be mad, he thinks she is getting TOO smart and learning to many things without him! It just dawned on me that Sean took his first steps at 13 months too! Both my kids walked at 13 months...that is cool. :)
I am so happy I got to witness her first steps. :)
She has been REALLY cranky today too-so it was nice to have something so positive happen!! :)
Happy Happy-- Joy Joy!
Leeza is better than the coolest toy!
She can be cranky, and defiant too
and sometimes she spits when she's trying to chew...
But then she flashes a smile and gives us a look with those GORGEOUS blue eyes...
And we fall in LOVE even more with our Kazakhstani princess suprise!!

Wow! Go, Leeza!
You will be too tired for running with the girls when you get back to Florida because you are going to be so busy running after Leeza.
Go Leeza Go!!!!!
Looking at the pictures of yesterday made me cry. I know they took great care of her at the baby house, but all those little bumps on her head-ouch! Look at her now, talking, walking, watch out all of us in the US, she's gonna take us by storm. Thanks for sharing...everything.xoxo
Susan, that's just amazing. Your little daughter is catching up so fast it makes one's head spin! Your peaceful days are about to be over, though, as she's always been active...now active AND mobile - yikes. I hope you get home fast so that Sean can wear her out a little for you and Joe can help in the chase:) Awesome.
Yay, Leeza!!!
Congratulations Leeza!! Oh man Mom, she's going to be running all over the place in no time!
WOW! YAHOO!!! IT IS SO EXCITING!!!! They say that sometimes kids sleep poorly and get cranky just as they are about to hit a major milestone...maybe that explains the crankiness?xoxxox
Woohoo Leeza! I'm so happy you got to witness those first and oh so special steps. Wow. We were there for Zoe's as well - also at 13 months - and it meant a lot. It's just the first of so many firsts yet to come.
We (both of us!) have been following your blog but sorry we haven't found time to leave many comments. These kiddos take up a lot of time and zap the energy right out of you. But none of us would have it any other way. I can't believe your end is in sight. You've had such a fun and wonderful journey - a shining example of what it SHOULD be like for everyone! :)
We're still here and following along, even if we don't always speak up! Can't wait for the Almaty portion of your trip.
Sara
That is great!! What a wonderful moment to share!
How exciting! Love your poem.
