Watch out American Idol...

On the way home from Sean's basketball game, Leeza was singing her heart out in the backseat. We stopped at a light and I whipped out my camera. I LOVE IT! She cracks me up. :)

This next one was my BEST find at a consignment store yet...a singing Pizza with Elmo..$4.99. We all love it. In fact, sweet Elmo inspired me to roll out pizza dough and flip it in the air, even. :)

Spring outfits

I started a "Spring outfits" photo album on facebook to showcase Leeza's obsession with clothes. :) Yes, Leeza's obsession. What can I say, the girl has good taste.

I figured I'd also put it on her blog, so she can read back about her early clothes obsessions. :)

As you can see, she loves Mickey and Minnie these days. As I type, she is watching Sesame Street, cuddled up with Mickey and Minnie. Mickey was Sean's, he picked it out on the Disney cruise when he was 5, and Sean picked out Minnie for Leeza on his youth group church trip to Disney last summer. She has been fighting me on wearing bows, but since Minnie Mouse wears bows, she now asks for them! Minnie Mouse also has a shoe and clothes obsession. I never knew this! Yay for Minnie!!

Yeah for cute spring outfits and cute lil girls to dress!! :)

Momentous Occasion...

Leeza just WATCHED HER FIRST EVER DISNEY MOVIE! Actually, her first ever MOVIE...SNOW WHITE! Before it started, I asked her if she wanted a snack and she chose...AN APPLE!!

It pretty much kept her attention the whole time. I was impressed with her questions and the engagement we had during the movie. This is HUGE for her and her attention span. Perhaps, the trip to Disney Monday and Disney's Live show today is kickin in. :)

I hope so. I LOVE LOVE LOVE DISNEY!

In fact, she is now snuggled up with Jillian watching Mulan, which came on after Snow White on the Disney Channel. :)

What really cracked me up is Leeza's empathy for the evil witch, and how she kept asking if her head was ok cuz a big rock fell on it and gave her a "boo boo". It was quite sweet.

She was yelling at the TV..NO SNOW WHITE, DON'T EAT THAT APPLE!

I sure love this girl.

I have such great memories of watching Toy Story, Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, etc with Sean at 3 and 4. He wasn't too into princesses. I could care less if Leeza is ..just hope she likes the movies as much as I do.

:)

My heart is happy. I love my girl!!

Movie update on Sunday, March 3/21

It was a rainy Sunday and Leeza asked to watch Snow White again. I suggested another Disney movie, and chose Toy Story. She LOVED IT..sat in my lap all snuggly and we laughed and ate popcorn. After the movie was over, she got up and got Toy Story 2 out of the case and said, "and now this one"!!! wow, REALLY? She did not sit and watch it the whole time, but she defintely was interested in it and stayed fairly focused.
I could not believe it! This is a REAL milestone for Leeza. She seems to have matured such a great deal since turning 2 1/2...she will watch the movies, talk about the movies, and shows such empathy for the characters. I know there are parents who don't let their kids watch tv or movies at all. I do not let Leeza watch tv all day long, but it was certainly a fun rainy day activity for us to do today. My baby girl is growin up!! :)

Disney's Rockin Live Show was a HIT!

I am really not sure WHO has the most fun dressing and going to these shows...me or Leeza. :) I am SO glad I booked this show for us to go see..Disney's Rockin Mickey Live Show. She and I both LOVED IT! It was her second "live" show! Her first one was right after she turned 2 and we saw "Elmo's Green Thumb" and she loved that as well, but it started losing her attention after intermission. She has changed so much in just 5 months. Her verbal ability has exploded and her attention span is sooooo much better. She was LOVING the show and so was I. I used to take Sean to ALL these shows and it's made me realize how much I miss it! I'm so glad to have a 2 year old again. :) I took some video of her dancing in the aisle, which I will post, but the quality was crappy but you can tell how much fun she is having.

I am so proud of myself..I resisted buying ANYTHING except the $7 popcorn (which Leeza ate the entire box) AND I got a$7 picture of her and I. :)
I just adore her lil ebay outfit...so cute for spring and summer. :)

The popcorn box was as big as Leeza....

After the show, we went to Publix, where Leeza looked so cute the lady gave her 2 SPRINKLE COOKIES! She could not BELIEVE IT! Mommy got some Landshark and lime....Leeza thought the lime was hilarious, for some reason.
What a great fun way to celebrate the first day of spring!

My lil dress up doll

I have to say...I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE lil girl clothes! Why do they all have to be sO ADORABLE! While we were outside taking pictures, UPS drove up and handed us a box. Leeza exclaims.."YAY NEW CLOTHES FOR EEZA!!" No, ACTUALLY, not this delivery Leeza, but yes, it's true, we do get a few packages for Leeza cuz mommy has an Ebay addiction.

I actually dress Leeza and just clap my hands and tell her how precious she looks and tell her "I LOVE IT!" :)

They actually make St Patty's day dresses, and Mardi Gras dresses too, but I had to draw the line. However, we made due today, on St Paddy's today, with her Easter skirt and a fun green shirt, and she picked out the silver "leprechaun" shoes. I think she looked smashing. :)

Tomorrow is school pictures....WHAT TO WEAR??
