Lookin for our daughter!!!

I am happy to report we got some "News" on Baby Kaz yesterday from our agency. The "in country dude" has our dossier from the MOE and is now looking for a perfect child for our family!!! YAY!!!! She said, you are one huge...step closer to your baby. She also mentioned that we might travel very soon, but , she forgot to ask how soon. LOL
Soon is so relative. :)
I'm wondering though, should I take my boots back? I was all set to take them back, thinking we would not be going until summer. Technically, that could still be true, but it's still cold in March. So, maybe i'll just hang on to them a bit longer "just in case".

I don't care when, I am just glad to hear something. I was so happy all last night and all today. :) I think I had the pregnancy glow.
Now Sean and I are always saying, "what do you think baby Kaz is doing right now?"

So, don't know where we're going, or when, but I know they're looking for our girl!

I am happy. :)

Yippee, this is fabulous news. We are all going to travel soon, like the next batch is on its way.

I can't wait until we are all home and able to have our baby kaz daughters playing together.

Congrats... Sandi

OMG that is too exciting! I think you should keep the boots. We got there in May and I was a bit chilled at night and after it rained so I bet it will still be chilly.

I can't wait til you go!!!!

Yeaaahhhh!!! So excited for you all!! It is coming .... it is really going to happen!!!

If I were you I would keep the boots (if you can still return them if need be) because you are a Floridian and the cold in Kaz will be felt much more by you than say someone coming from a colder climate. My father and I traveled to NY for a trade show recently - him coming from 60 degree weather in California and me coming from 6 degree weather in Illinois. It was 27 in NY. He was in severe discomfort (LOL that is putting it mildly) I was in heaven - it was a heat wave to me. I didn't need my gloves or hat. So, I would keep the boots!

Oh how awesome!! What wonderful news to get and to hear. I've been laid up on the sick bed this week and this news is the best I've heard all week. And the picture of course is priceless.

I hope soon is really soon!! :-)

Nice picture! If you add a burn mark on that tosh, it'll look like Gretchen's and mine. I had no idea that had happened to her, too, until I read your comment. Too weird! Stay away from VW Passats.

I'm glad things are moving along for you!!

hey susan, congratulations—wonderful, wonderful news. we also heard that our dossier is getting close to leaving the building (the MFA/MOE building)—we just need to get one more document apostilled. So hopefully we'll all be traveling at the same time—wouldn't that be a trip, huh?

can't wait to meet all of you next week—woo-woo!!!! (btw, keep the boots. they look really stunning on you.)

That's wonderful news! A giant leap forward... and they're right, it could happen any day now. I saw that the average high in northern kaz in Feb. is 18 and in March it is 30. Still pretty chilly so I'd hang on to the boots for a little while longer if I were you (plus they are too cute to take back!).

I will tell you we arrived in Kaz on March 31st and were very glad we had our boots. It was a mud pit. We wore the boots until the end of April.
