Pigtails!!

They didn't stay in for very long-but I got em in!
At Gymboree class today, a lil girl with less hair than Leeza had cute lil pigtails in her hair so I asked her mom if she thought I could get them in Leeza's hair. I still need to practice, because they fell out soon after the pictures were taken.

I put them in again so Daddy could see them when he got home, and he said her hair is too short for pigtails, then Leeza pulled them out. I thought they looked cute though. I am sure my nieces will teach me when we go visit them in Dallas in a few days..I'm not very good at girl hair. :)

Hello Susan,

I love your beautiful Leeza and you an adorable mom to her.

I found you your wonderful blog when I searched on internet to find out how I go to Petropavlovsk.

I am grown up in there :)
My mom and brother are still living there and I want to visit them at last after 15 years living in Sweden, Gothenburg.

I just cried when I read your adventure and I so happy that Leeza have such a wonderful life and you so happy mom to have such a beautiful baby.

Last year I have got strong feelings to adopt a child. I have one - a 23 years daughter.

I am already 50 but youthful and healthy. I like yoga and diving. I have visited Florida several times and have friends how live there in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks for your story! Your story is inspiring!

Leeza's hair looks ADORABLE in pigtails and YOU are great at doing girls hair!

Keep practicing and they will be perfect before you know it, although in my book they are already perfect!

Happy 4th of July and have fun meeting Finley! I wish Henry and I were coming!

I hear you with the hair struggles - I've given up (for now) but I still have fantasies of french braiding Sasha's hair. Someday!

Oh my gosh, they are ADORABLE?!?! So cute. I love 'em! Yay for you for getting pig tails.

As for girl hair- it is definitely a learned skill. Especially for those of us who don't have girls who sit still for longer than 2 seconds! You'll get really good at doing hair on the move. lol!

The pigtails were adorable! The only girl at our reunion party today was 17 months old and had hardly any hair. I thought of Leeza and how she now has hair. This girl's mama said she dresses her in skirts all of the time because she wants people to know she is a girl. She wasn't ready to do the ear piercing yet. Leeza's hair looks so cute in bows and pigtails.
